I was disgusted by the staging and lies in season 1. One couple already knew one another before the show. I have no issue with cussing here and there, but the series has most of them cussing constantly. It doesn't add to the story line. Like I said about season 1, the "English" kids breaking away don't act like this. The Amish definitely don't act like this when they take a year away. It's a sensationalized dumb show not worth buying. Even season 1 offended the English.

    5Breaking Amish
    By Linda L F
I enjoy watching the Amish folks trying to make their way into the "English" society. It's a journey that is interesting. I find it interesting that they are still Amish at heart. Kate and Rebecca both have stated "You can take the girl out of the Amish but you can't take the Amish out of the girl".

    5Abe and Rebecca: Apologize Please!
    By Loretta M. Sorensen
Kate did such a nice thing by agreeing to help Abe's sister Katie Ann get a make-over. I think that this might have been one of the best day's of Katie Ann's young life but Rebecca and Abe had to ruin it with their nasty attitudes. They owe Kate an apology big time.

Was funny to listen to Mary talk about how she dislikes the tights and tight animal print clothing which Rebecca tends to wear. Mary seemed genuinely glad that Kate helped out Katie Ann and not Rebecca. Kate did a wonderful job choosing clothes for Katie Ann, she looked gorgeous but lady-like and Mary seemed pleased and proud of her daughter, which Kate mentioned she had hoped to also accomplish.
