5This Is An Amazing Concert DVD!!----Linkin Park Are In Top Form In This!!
This CD/DVD set of "Linkin Park Live In Texas" is simply
    an amazing performance!
It's just like being right there at one of their concerts!
Everything on here is slammin' to me and I've turned many people on
who were somewhat aprehensive or at least old fuddy-duddies in their attitudes
where this late 90's / early 2000's alternative rock / hip-hop fusion band were concerned.
Some people who are from previous generations of rock and other genres of music have a
mental block for anything released after say, 1985, considering it to be absolute garbage!
I'm glad that I'm an exception to that rule...I think Linkin Park is a great modern band!
This is a great musical buy and one you'll find yourself watching and
listening to over and over! This was Linkin Park at or near their creative peak IMHO!!
If there's anything negative to say about this DVD it's that there are no special features
like behind the scenes stuff or a song or two that didn't make it into the final cut!
Other than that, it's perfect! (-:

2this is a concert? what concert!
    By Curt Vote
First off, I've been listening to Linkin Park for a couple of years now and I really like their musical style. If you're new to Linkin Park you'll notice they sound different here than on their newest release.

The set list on this DVD is fantastic but the video footage is horrible. The wild camera angles are zooming everywhere which makes any attempt at getting a good look at the band impossible. I want to grab the camera and force it to hold still for more than 1 or 2 seconds. Truthfully, it makes you get a headache just watching it, even with the sound completely off. Also, the sound is disappointing. No matter what I adjust I can't seem to get it right. It feels very distant and not like you are there.
I think a lot of people go to live shows or buy live concert video not only for entertainment but to also learn more about the band, see the cool equipment and maybe see how they play a certain part. There are some good shots of Rob on the drums which gives a powerful feel but it could have been soo much better. They are much better than this DVD shows. Hopefully they will do another one soon.

5Must Own For Linkin Park Fans. Absolutly Amazing!
    By M. Petruccelli
Wow! I never buy DVD's anymore because I am into blu-ray's now. However this is one of the best Live Concerts (DVD or Blu-Ray) that I ever watched and listened too. Now I have high end home theater system and the Dolby Digital is amazing. You can really hear the crowd when they sing along which sounds amazing when the band members are not singing but holding the mic's to the crowd. I swear you will not be disappointed with this DVD/CD combo. I am also a huge Nine Inch Nails fan and this compares to the DVD "And All That Could Have Been" (Especially the DTS Version)and the Blu-Ray "Beside You In Time".

On a side note I was supposed to see Linkin Park in February at Mohegan Sun Arena but they had to cancel the concert and did not re-schedule. I was so bummed out. So all of you who saw them live this tour I am jealous. :]
